Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. in New York seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT services for children, evaluating progress and delivering IEP-mandated therapy. The role includes collaboration with families, educators, and other professionals to support each child’s goals.

Ideal candidates will conduct evaluations, document progress, and maintain detailed records in a supportive clinical setting while contributing to ongoing child development plans and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid and unencumbered OT license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Perform evaluations and assessments and track child progress.
• Deliver OT services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
