Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver school-based OT services in New York. You will evaluate children, implement IEP goals, and collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support each child’s progress.

Requirements include ACOTE-accredited OT degree, NBCOT registration, and a valid state license. Salary ranges from $54 to $70 per hour, with full-time benefits and ongoing CEU opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• Initial NBCOT registration.
• Current OT license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Performs evaluations and assessments and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Occupational Therapy services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
