Job summary

Rivers Edge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Prospect, Kentucky is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our therapy team. This role offers per diem shifts, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for growth within our expanding network.

You will evaluate patients, plan individualized treatments, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, supervise COTA interventions, and help patients use adaptive equipment to improve daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current OT certification in Kentucky.
• 2+ years experience in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred).
• Passion for geriatric care and rehabilitation.
• Creativity in problem-solving and activity adaptation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations
• Develop creative, individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with a supportive, interdisciplinary team
• Provide hands-on therapy focusing on daily living skills and oversee COTA interventions
• Guide patients in using adaptive equipment
• Mentor and guide therapy staff
