Falkville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Falkville, Alabama, is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our compassionate Therapy team. This per diem position focuses on geriatric rehabilitation, with responsibilities including comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment plans.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, mentor staff, and guide COTA interventions while promoting daily living skills and the safe use of adaptive equipment.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current OT certification in the state of Alabama.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred).
• Passion for geriatric care and rehabilitation.
• Creativity in problem-solving and activity adaptation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations.
• Develop creative, individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a supportive, interdisciplinary team.
• Provide hands-on therapy focusing on daily living skills and oversee COTA interventions.
• Guide patients in using adaptive equipment.
• Mentor and guide therapy staff.
