Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab in Bronx, NY is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Bronx. Our team provides rehab services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym, welcoming seasoned professionals and new grads alike to contribute to resident recovery.

You will evaluate residents, develop OT treatment plans, and help them perform daily activities independently with mentorship and ongoing clinical support within a collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current New York State OT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Residents & develop an OT treatment plan that will meet their individual needs.
• Choose activities that will help the residents to carry out their daily activities independently.
• Observe, assess and document residents' occupational therapy progress by preparing detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to a team effort.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program

Current New York State OT License
