Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group in Placerville, CA is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in a full-time or part-time role. You will help students develop functional, sensory, and motor skills to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to support diverse needs, conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide direct OT services, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience working with children and adolescents.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring.
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success.
