Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our full-time, school-based team in San Francisco, CA. You will support students in developing functional, sensory, and motor skills for classroom success and daily life.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to tailor evaluations, treatments, and IEP goals. A CA license and OT degree are required, with NBCOT preferred. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active CA OT license required.
• NBCOT certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with children/adolescents is preferred.
• School-based experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring.
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success.
