Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our school-based, full-time team in Rialto, CA. You will help students develop functional, sensory, and motor skills to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Work with teachers, families, and specialists to support diverse needs, participate in IEPs, and document progress. This role offers a collaborative culture and opportunities for professional growth. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active California Occupational Therapist license
• NBCOT certification preferred
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
• School-based experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
• Provide direct OT services in individual and group settings
• Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success
