Join a team dedicated to delivering high-quality, individualized care that prioritizes each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals. ## Key Responsibilities* Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for patients with surgical and non-surgical orthopedic conditions affecting the upper extremities.* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, patient needs, and functional goals.* Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, range of motion, coordination, dexterity, and functional performance.* Fabricate, fit, and modify custom splints and orthoses for post-operative recovery and non-surgical orthopedic management.* Monitor patient progress, reassess functional outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.* Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, joint protection strategies, adaptive techniques, splint management, and home exercise programs.* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and applicable regulations.## Qualifications and Requirements* Active New York State Occupational Therapist license required.* Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program; a master's degree is preferred.* Strong clinical experience in upper extremity rehabilitation, orthopedic occupational therapy, and post-operative care.* Demonstrated proficiency in custom splint fabrication, orthotic fitting, and splint modification.* At least one year of occupational therapy experience preferred.* Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred.
