Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Minot, ND is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility to plan, organize, develop, and direct OT services ensuring the highest standard of resident care in line with federal, state, and local guidelines.

You will assess residents, develop and adjust treatment plans with measurable goals, and communicate progress to residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist with an active license.
• Ongoing education to maintain licensure and certification.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best interventions.

Job Position

Occupational Therapist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type

Full Time, Part Time, or PRN positions available

Job Purpose

To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
