Job summary

Signature Healthcare at Home in the Portland region seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients in their homes and enhance their ADLs and functional mobility.

The OT will develop care plans, communicate with physicians, and teach patients new skills while fabricating splints and advising on adaptive equipment. This is a full-time position with driving to patient homes in the community.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an OT program accredited by relevant bodies.
• Must be NBCOT registered.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Workers certification.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional status and home safety.
• Develop and implement OT treatment plans and goals.
• Educate patients and caregivers in ADLs and mobility techniques.
• Fabricate splints and adapt equipment to improve function.
