Select Medical is seeking an Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center in Houston. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a compensation range of $85,000 to $120,000, plus a $20,000 sign-on bonus and debt relief options. A CHt is preferred, but level II hand therapy experience is acceptable.

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license

Responsabilités

• Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
• High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
• Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
• Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

Overview

Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist

Location: 4009 Richmond Ave, Houston

Schedule: Monday Through Friday

Compensation: $85,000 to $120,000 based on years of experience

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for ouroutpatient orthopedic center! Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we are willing to consider occupational therapists with a level II fieldwork in hands (required). We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
