Job summary

Aston Group in Florida is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team. The part-time OT will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy to promote independence, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include ADL training, mobility and cognition support, documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Florida license required; SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current OT license in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Skilled nursing or long‑term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation and Medicare regulations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Supervise COTAs as applicable.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
