Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support patients in a facility-based setting, helping them regain independence and mobility. You will assess needs, design recovery plans, and deliver therapy tailored to individual goals.

As part of a collaborative rehab team, you will educate patients and caregivers, coordinate care, and ensure compliance with ACOTE standards and state licensing requirements while contributing to a compassionate, outcomes-driven program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy curriculum.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to restore independence and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers to support continued progress and safety.
• Maintain licensure and adhere to professional standards and facility policies.

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.

You are a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You are equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You are adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

Qualifications
