Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess patients, design recovery plans, and deliver therapy in facility settings across multiple care environments. You will be a healer and educator, promoting independence and functional recovery through personalized OT interventions.

Qualified applicants hold ACOTE-accredited OT degrees, NBCOT registration, and an active OT license in the state. The role offers in-facility work with direct reporting to the Director of Rehab and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid, unencumbered OT license as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans for occupational therapy.
• Deliver occupational therapy to help patients restore independence.
• Collaborate with a care team and refer as needed to optimize patient outcomes.

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

Qualifications

• They must have a Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Salary

USD $46.00 - $48.00 /Hr.
