Job summary

Powerback seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our in-facility rehab team. You will assess patients, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy across settings, guided by our patient-centered care model.

You will report to the Director of Rehab, collaborate with peers, and help patients regain independence through personalized therapy plans in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy curriculum ACOTE-accredited.
• Initial NBCOT certification/registration.
• Current, valid state OT license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ needs and develop recovery plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy services in various settings.
• Collaborate with care teams and educate patients and caregivers as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum ACOTE standards

Initial registration from NBCOT

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.

You are a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You are equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You are adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You are a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but you’re also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.

You know that being an Occupational Therapist means you’re a teacher who can train patients and caregivers on the skills they need to promote independence and productivity.

Qualifications

• They must have a Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $53.00 - USD $58.00 /Hr.
