HealthPro Heritage is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist for Mercy Ridge in Timonium, Maryland. The role offers compensation of $55,000–$58,000 depending on experience and entails comprehensive clinical responsibilities in multiple settings.

As a therapist-led, mission-driven team, you will assess clients, develop treatment plans, document progress, and advocate for patient needs while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure or licensure eligibility as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills; ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans and educate clients and families on improving daily activities and adapting environments.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with standards.
• Advocacy and Support: Help clients access community resources and accommodations.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
