Job summary

HealthPro Heritage seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist for our assisted living location in Randolph, NJ. Therapy is provided Monday through Friday with no evenings or weekends.

You will assess, plan, and implement patient-centered interventions, document progress, and collaborate with families and care teams to improve functional outcomes. Competitive hourly pay and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients' goals and educate clients and families on improving daily activities.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients' needs and support them in accessing community resources and accommodations.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
