Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in San Antonio. You will screen, evaluate, and treat patients, develop comprehensive evaluation reports, and establish measurable goals to maximize patient independence.

As part of the role, you will supervise OT Assistants and rehab techs, coordinate with patients and families, and ensure care aligns with state practice acts and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication and ability to relate to patients, families and staff.
• Able to perform responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.
• Completes comprehensive evaluations using appropriate tools and procedures.
• Reviews patient records for diagnoses, history, precautions, and contraindications.
• Establishes measurable goals and a treatment plan to maximize independence.
• Supervises OT Assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care.
