Job summary

Pacific Coast Post-Acute in Salinas, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available. Pay ranges $58-$70/hour DOE and includes benefits, H1B sponsorship, and tuition reimbursement.

You will evaluate residents, develop OT plans, supervise COTAs, and collaborate with care teams to maximize independence. California OT license required; new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

  • Current California Occupational Therapist license in good standing.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide patient-centered rehabilitation in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized OT treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve independence and cognition.
  • Supervise COTAs in accordance with California guidelines.
  • Maintain documentation including evaluations, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, residents, and families.
  • Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
