Job summary

The Orchards at Redford is seeking a compassionate PRN Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Redford, MI. You will provide personalized, resident-centered therapy and develop treatment plans aimed at improving independence and safety in daily activities.

New graduates are welcome. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate residents and families, and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards while maintaining flexible PRN scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must hold Active OT license in MI in good standing.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and their impact on daily activities
• Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans
• Provide skilled therapy focused on independence in ADLs and IADLs
• Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications as appropriate
• Monitor resident progression and adjust OT treatment plans as needed
• Educate residents, families, caregivers, and clinical staff
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
• Ensure services meet all professional, legal, and regulatory standards
