Job summary

The Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Phoenixville, PA, is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to evaluate, treat, document, and facilitate care for residents with impaired activities of daily living.

You will participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and support the Director of Nursing in developing ADL decline prevention policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience.
• Must have a current Occupational Therapist license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate with residents, their families and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to evaluate and treat residents' ADLs.
• Document care and support interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in developing ADL decline prevention policies and procedures.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, their families and other healthcare professionals. Ability to present information to supervisor.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.

• Must have at least two years of related experience

• Must have a current Occupational Therapist license
