Job summary

The Phoenix Center in Phoenixville, PA is seeking a PRN COTA to join our therapy team and provide skilled occupational therapy assistance under the supervision of an OTR. You will help plan and implement treatment, monitor progress, and document as required.

The ideal candidate holds an active COTA license and has at least one year of related experience. This is a PRN, on-site position with opportunities for collaborative care and participation in team meetings.

Qualifications

• Must have current COTA license.
• One year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the OTR.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager
