Job summary

InHome Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home services to adults and seniors in and around Orland Park, IL. The role offers a flexible schedule, a consistent caseload, and supportive team resources.

You will evaluate mobility and function, implement therapeutic programs, educate on recovery plans, and maintain compliant documentation for Medicare and the agency. Compensation is per visit with opportunities for benefits based on status and hours.

Qualifications

• Active OT license in good standing.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation to see patients in homes.
• Basic comfort with email, texting, and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients.
• Evaluate mobility, strength, and function to develop goals.
• Implement rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans.
• Maintain accurate home health care documentation per Medicare standards.

Compensation and Benefits*

• The evaluation visit rate for this role ranges from $65- $80 per visit

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in your community
• Evaluate patient mobility, strength, and function to develop individualized treatment goals
• Implement effective rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely home health care documentation per Medicare and agency standards

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy (OT) license in good standing
• BLS CPR certification
• Reliable transportation to see patients in their homes
• Basic comfort with technology - email, texting, EMR systems (training provided)

• This position is paid on a per-visit basis. Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Benefits eligibility varies based on employment status and weekly hours worked. Some roles are eligible for medical benefits only; others are eligible for both medical benefits and PTO.
