Frontline Personnel in New York, NY is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our long-term care rehab team. You will support elderly patients in a skilled nursing facility, applying purposeful activities to promote independence.

This role welcomes new graduates and requires a current state OT license. You will conduct skilled observations and administer tests to identify needs, while enjoying true job flexibility and a variety of shifts.

Qualifications

• Current OT license by the State is required.
• Experience is preferred, however we are accepting new grads.

Responsabilités

• Use purposeful activities or interventions to maximize independence and maintain health in individuals with limitations due to physical injury or illness, cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction, mental illness, developmental or learning disability, or adverse environmental conditions.
• Conduct skilled observation and administer or interpret standardized and non-standardized tests to identify areas needing occupational therapy services.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Responsibilities:

As an Occupational Therapist (OT) at Frontline Personnel, you will perform a variety of tasks in a Long-Term Care rehab, Skilled Nursing Facility for elderly patients, including:

• Use purposeful activities or interventions to maximize independence and maintain health in individuals with limitations due to:
  • Physical injury or illness
  • Cognitive impairment
  • Psychosocial dysfunction
  • Mental illness
  • Developmental or learning disability
  • Adverse environmental conditions
