Qualifications

  • Active California Occupational Therapist license in good standing.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational therapy.
  • New graduates welcome; experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
  • Knowledge of PDPM, Medicare, and SNF regulations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to resident-centered, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to support functional independence.
  • Document resident progress accurately and timely per regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident care.
  • Participate in care conferences and family meetings as applicable.
  • Mentor OT assistants and support staff as applicable.
