Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Matthews, NC is hiring an Occupational Therapist to help residents regain function in a skilled nursing facility. You will assess, design treatment plans, and educate patients and families to promote independence.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy, active license in North Carolina, and proficiency with EHR systems. Full-time, part-time, or PRN positions are available, with options for ongoing CEUs and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current and valid OT license for North Carolina.
• Must have basic computer skills and ability to navigate service delivery and EHR software.

Responsibilities

• Return patients to optimal physical function in SNF with education and independent exercise programs.

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job is to return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patients, physicians, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current and valid license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
