Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Charlottesville is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents regain mobility and independence in a skilled nursing setting. The OT will assess patients, create individualized treatment plans, and guide education and independent exercise programs.

We offer full-time day shifts with competitive wages, ranging from $39.00 to $49.00 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and continuing education opportunities within a supportive, award‑winning organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current and valid license issued by the state of employment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate service delivery software and EHR.

Responsibilities

• Return patients to optimal physical function in a SNF setting.
• Instruct patients to maintain function after discharge through education, independent exercise, and activity modification.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapy team to achieve goals.

Position Summary

The primary function of your job is to return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patients, physicians, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification.

Education/Qualifications

• Employee must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current and valid license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
