Job summary

Ultimate Therapy Services is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the Autumn Lake at Cherry Lane therapy team in Laurel, MD. This full-time position provides opportunities to help residents develop practical skills and independence through individualized OT services.

You'll perform evaluations, create plans of care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize daily functioning and safety. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide skilled treatment addressing activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional performance
• Establish meaningful goals based on each resident's abilities and rehabilitation needs
• Recommend adaptive techniques and equipment when appropriate
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans based on resident response
• Educate residents and caregivers on strategies that promote safety and independence
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with COTAs, PT, SLP, nursing, and other healthcare professionals

Ultimate Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the therapy team at Autumn Lake at Cherry Lane. Work with residents to develop practical skills, improve daily function, and achieve greater independence through individualized occupational therapy services.
