Ultimate Therapy is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist at Autumn Lake at Chesapeake Woods in Cambridge, MD. You will assess residents' self-care, upper-extremity function, cognition, and activity tolerance to build effective recovery plans.

Join a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and provide hands-on therapy for daily activities, recommend adaptive equipment, and ensure accurate documentation and coordination with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
• Strong evaluation and assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Documentation is accurate and timely.
• Post-acute or skilled nursing experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate self-care skills, upper-extremity function, cognition, and activity tolerance.
• Establish individualized treatment goals based on residents' abilities, preferences, and anticipated discharge needs.
• Provide hands-on therapy for dressing, bathing, toileting, functional transfers, and other meaningful activities.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and teach residents and caregivers techniques for managing routines safely.
• Reassess functional progress, revise plans of care, and supervise COTA services.
• Complete clinical documentation and coordinate recommendations with nursing and fellow rehabilitation professionals.

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist at Autumn Lake at Chesapeake Woods. Work with skilled nursing residents to identify what makes daily activities difficult and develop practical ways to improve their independence, comfort, and participation throughout recovery.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate self-care skills, upper-extremity function, cognition, and activity tolerance.
• Establish individualized treatment goals based on residents' abilities, preferences, and anticipated discharge needs.
• Provide hands-on therapy for dressing, bathing, toileting, functional transfers, and other meaningful activities.
