Job summary

Opis-Senior-Services-Group is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team in Florida. The OT will evaluate residents, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide services to promote independence, safety, and quality of life.

The role requires an OT degree, Florida license, and prefer familiarity with geriatric rehab and Medicare regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current OT license in good standing in Florida.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation and Medicare regulations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapy focused on ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Supervise COTAs as applicable.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team.
