Job summary

Opis Senior Services Group is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team in Florida. The OT will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy to promote independence and safety.

The role requires a licensed OT in Florida, with geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred. The position offers full-time and PRN schedules, competitive pay, and benefits in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current OT license in Florida.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare regulations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapy focused on ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Supervise COTAs as applicable.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team.
