Thrive Therapy of Kansas is seeking a Full-Time Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide hands-on OT services to patients in their homes in the Kansas City, KS area. Under the supervision of a licensed OT, you will help patients improve independence in daily activities, document progress, and collaborate with the care team.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, flexibility, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
Active Kansas OTA license through KSBHA.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Comfortable working independently in a home health setting.

Responsabilités

Provide skilled OTA interventions as outlined in the plan of care.
Assist patients with improving independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to address strength, coordination, mobility, and functional performance.
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Accurately document treatment sessions and patient responses in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, safety strategies, and home programs.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
Maintain compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
