Job summary

Hyattsville Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, on-site role in Hyattsville, MD. The position includes a $10K retention bonus and a supportive environment focused on professional growth, competitive wages, PTO, and comprehensive insurance plans.

The OT will provide direct patient care, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care for

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Document and record the patients’ condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
