Job summary

Powerback is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join our in-facility rehab team. You will assess patient needs, design recovery plans, and deliver OT services under the Director of Rehab. You’ll collaborate with therapists and care staff to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life.

This role supports new grads through the mentorship program, offers comprehensive benefits, CEU access, and visa/relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ACOTE-accredited OT curriculum.
• Initial NBCOT certification/registration.
• Valid state OT license in the practice state.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy services in facility.
• Collaborate with rehab team and refer as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence.

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.

You are a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You are equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You are adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

Qualifications

• They must have a Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $53.00 - USD $58.00 /Hr.
