Job summary

Autumn Leaves Memory Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver therapy services in a skilled nursing setting. You will work with patients, facilities, and families to implement plans of care and supervise support staff as needed.

The role requires an OT license for Texas, experience in geriatric care or veterans' care environments, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Net Health Rehab. This is a full- or part-time opportunity with competitive benefits for a retirement community

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/ Veterans Homes/ or healthcare as a OT Leader.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
• Valid Occupational Therapist state license. (Texas)
• Experience in health care / hospitality or other related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients.
• Provide quality patient care including ongoing treatment per a plan of care, supervision of COTAs and Rehab Techs (where required) and case management responsibilities.
• Maintain professional conduct that represents the commitment to quality and service in all interactions with clients, including positive levels of interaction and rapport with facilities and clients.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy.

Education

The Job
