Job summary

Atour Community is seeking an Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehabilitation team. Provide OT services to residents in a skilled nursing setting, maintain positive relationships with facilities and families, and supervise support staff as needed.

The role requires a Texas OT license, experience in geriatrics, and proficiency with Net Health Rehab and Microsoft Office. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid Occupational Therapist state license (Texas).
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Veterans Homes or healthcare as OT leader.
• Passion for geriatric care in retirement communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to patients and maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients.
• Deliver quality patient care per plan of care and supervise COTAs and Rehab Techs as required.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations governing occupational therapy.

The Job

Provide Occupational Therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy and within community guidelines. Provide quality patient care including ongoing treatment per a plan of care, supervision of COTAs and Rehab Techs (where required) and case management responsibilities. Maintain professional conduct that represents the commitment to quality and service in all interactions with clients, including positive levels of interaction and rapport with facilities and clients. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy.

Must haves

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/ Veterans Homes/ or healthcare as a OT Leader
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Proficiency in Net Health Rehab as the primary Operating Software.
• Valid Occupational Therapist state license. (Texas)
• Experience in health care / hospitality or other related field.
• Possess a passion for working in a retirement community with the geriatric population.
