Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, a senior living provider, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver comprehensive OT services in a collaborative setting at the Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, KY.

The OT will assess, plan and implement therapy, educate patients and families, document progress, and work with an interdisciplinary team. Education: Master’s degree; Experience: 0–1 years; active KY OT license required. Travel is required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• 0-1 years of experience in OT preferred or required.
• Must have and maintain a current, valid state OT licensure.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Educates patients and their families on techniques and strategies for daily living activities.
• Documents patient progress and adapts treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for providing a full range of occupational therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.
