Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our therapy team at a luxury senior living community in Gloucester, MA. The position offers a very flexible schedule and competitive hourly pay based on experience, with a collaborative, resident-centered approach to care.

You will assess residents, develop treatment plans, educate families, document progress, and advocate for patient needs in a multidisciplinary setting dedicated to maintaining independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans and educate clients and families on improving daily activities and use of adaptive equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with standards.
• Advocacy and Support: Help clients access community resources and accommodations.
