Job summary

Your Talent Team is partnering with a community-focused rehabilitation center in Ohio to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist. The role spans inpatient and pediatric settings with a 50/50 split, offering a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM in a full-time, 40-hour week.

You will evaluate patients, develop evidence-based plans of care, supervise OTAs and students, ensure compliance, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Current Ohio OT license and CPR certification are required.
• Strong communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care
• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy to help patients achieve maximum functional outcomes
• Provide care across the full age spectrum — neonate through geriatric
• Treat orthopedic and neurological conditions in both inpatient and pediatric settings (50/50 split)
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT students
• Ensure ongoing compliance with standards of practice, payer regulations, and facility policies
• Apply critical thinking to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Maintain professional, courteous communication and customer service
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members and departments
• Support daily operations and data collection within the medical fitness center
