Job summary

Therapy & Beyond is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our clinic-based team in Fort Worth, Texas. The role is full-time, salaried, on-site, working with BCBAs, SLPs, and families to deliver quality pediatric therapy services.

You will perform clinical assessments, develop Plans of Care, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and staff to optimize functional outcomes and safety during ADL performance.

Qualifications

• Current Texas State License as an Occupational Therapist.
• Two years of direct service work in a treatment setting for patients preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment; identify patient needs and target developmental goals.
• Document, prepare/revise, and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical records.
• Assess and facilitate the patient’s ROM, strength, coordination, use of adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, functional mobility, and safety during ADL performance.
• Implement, monitor, collect and evaluate data.
• Evaluate the efficiency of the treatment.
• Demonstrate professional behavior.
• Demonstrate competence with crisis intervention.
• Facilitate effective training with parents and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

TheOccupational Therapistposition is responsible for the direct implementation of therapy services within a clinic-based environment. This position will work closely with BCBAs, SLPs, and families to ensure that each patient in the organization receives quality therapeutic care!

This role will be aFull-Time,salariedposition supporting pediatric and adolescent clients on-site at ourFort Worthfacility.

• Perform clinical assessment; identifypatient needs and target developmental goals
• Document, prepare/revises, and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical record documentation on an ongoing basis
• Assess and facilitatethe patient’s ROM, strength, coordination, need for and use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, functional mobility, and safety issues as related to the patient’s ADL performance needs
• Implement, monitor, collect and evaluate data.
• Evaluate the efficiencyof the treatment
• Demonstration of professional behavior
