Job summary

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• CPR certification upon hire and maintained throughout employment.
• One year of post-acute care experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

• Develop, assess, and modify patient treatment plans and goals.
• Oversee therapy provided by OTAs, aides, and students.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software effectively.
• Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality.
• Participate in community health initiatives as appropriate.
• Ensure safety, patient rights, and sanitation standards.
• Assist in emergency evacuations and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
