Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a part-time role at Sunrise of Dublin in Dublin, OH. You will assess residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide education to residents and families.

Join a collaborative team including PTs, SLPs, nursing, and wellness staff to support geriatrics and memory care. The position offers a flexible 10-15 hour weekly schedule with room to grow, in a beautiful senior living community.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or licensure eligibility.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills; proficiency in developing and implementing treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Create personalized treatment plans to meet goals and enhance functional abilities; educate patients and families on daily living activities and adaptations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress and treatment plans in accordance with standards.
• Advocate for clients and assist in accessing community resources and accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
