Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 40-hour contract in Danville, VA. The OT will evaluate clients, develop and deliver therapy services, and document care in accordance with each patient’s plan of care.

Requirements include active OT licensure in the state, graduation from an accredited OT program, and CPR if applicable. Prior OT experience is preferred, with compliance to health and safety standards throughout the contract.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• One year of experience preferred.
• CPR if applicable.
• TB screening / chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Pay: $56 / Hour

Hours: 40.00

Location: Danville, VA

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for performing client evaluations, developing and providing occupational therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each patient.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice


• Must be a graduate of an accredited school or program of Occupational Therapy


• One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred


• Current CPR if applicable


• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable


• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)


• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements


• Must be at least 18 years of age
