Job summary

Connections Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 100+ bed healthcare facility near Cleveland, TN. The role involves outpatient 1:1 care and occasional hospital or senior care coverage, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for an 18-month commitment.

You will assess, treat, educate patients and families, and supervise therapy staff. Applicants must hold a Tennessee OT license and have Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Tennessee OT license is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient's ability to safely and effectively perform occupational skills; designs the plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
• Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Documents subjective and objective findings of patient progress; monitors and modifies the plan of care as needed; seeks consultation when necessary.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting; provides information on adaptive equipment and support programs.
• Supervises and delegates care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in accordance with licensing laws and state regulations.

Our client, a 100+ bed healthcare facility, located near Cleveland, TN and located within 2 hrs of Great Smoky Mountains area of TN, just over an hour from Knoxville, has a need for an Occupational Therapist to join their team.

They are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus with an 18 mth commitment!

Details:

Outpatient 1:1 care
Need to see both adults and pediatrics

Occasional hospital coverage or senior care

How you'll contribute:

An OT - Occupational Therapist

• Supervises and delegates the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.
