Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our on-site Boise team. This permanent, full-time role focuses on assessment, treatment planning, and neurological rehabilitation to help patients regain independence.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, state licensure, CPR certification, and strong ADL training skills, with proficiency in EMR systems and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Licensed to practice as an OT in the appropriate state
• CPR certification required
• Proficiency in EMR software and documentation
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation
• Strong ADL instruction and adaptive equipment knowledge
• Excellent communication and patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify physical and functional needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for optimal health and mobility
• Provide hands-on therapy and use adaptive equipment to aid daily activities
• Educate patients and families on ADLs, devices, and safety
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals for holistic treatment
• Document progress and update EMR in a timely manner
• Deliver neurological rehabilitation for brain injuries, stroke, and other conditions
• Maintain CPR certification and apply emergency procedures when needed
• Train patients and families on safe use of adaptive equipment
