Job summary

THERAPY 2000 in El Paso, TX seeks a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join a mission-driven home-health team. You will evaluate and treat children in their homes, partnering with families and care providers to support growth and independence.

Requirements include a Texas OT license and 3+ years of pediatric experience; feeding therapy experience is a plus. Travel to patient visits is expected; PTO and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Qualifications

What you'll need:

• A current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.

• Experience in a home-health setting.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
  Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric occupational therapy.
