Aspirus Medford Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide adult and geriatric OT services in a home health setting in Medford, WI. The successful candidate will evaluate, treat, and plan patient care in accordance with OT standards, with a mentorship program available for those new to Home Health.

This is an hourly, full-time (1.0 FTE) position with Monday–Friday day shifts, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Competenze

• Knowledge of occupational therapy standards and practices as per degree.
• CPR certification is required (or obtained within 90 days).
• Driver's License required and valid.
• Auto liability insurance coverage required.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy to adult and geriatric patients. Evaluates, treats, and plans patient care in accordance with Occupational Therapy standards, considering the needs of the patient as it pertains to the age and diagnosis of the patient.

For those interested without Home Health experience, Aspirus has a supportive mentorship program to help you feel comfortable in this awarding career!

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of occupational therapy standards and practices normally acquired through a minimum of a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
• Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist beneficial.
• Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license required.
• Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training through independent study, manikin, and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED. (See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training, Policy #7087).
• Possesses and maintains a valid Driver's License required.
• Possesses automobile liability insurance with minimum $100,000/$300,000 coverage required, or $300,000 combined single-limit liability.
