Job summary

Lexington Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will assess and treat patients, develop care plans, and promote evidence-based practice to improve outcomes.

Relocation assistance is provided for qualified candidates, and you will work in a collaborative hospital environment emphasizing patient-centered care and continuous learning. This role requires licensure in the state, B.S./M.S./D.P.T., and CPR-BLS Level C certification.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from accredited physical therapy school.
• Current licensure in the state where you practice.
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
• Provides patient care assessment and treatment with sound clinical judgment and a comprehensive treatment plan.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes and ICD-10 codes as appropriate.
• Meets department financial and productivity standards and adjusts schedules to meet patient and department needs.
• Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers and participates in process improvement to enhance patient care.
