Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join the Rehabilitation Lymphedema outpatient team at St. Francis. This full-time role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with lymphedema and related functional challenges.

You will design personalized plans, monitor progress, adapt treatments, educate families, and advocate for safe transitions home. Requires OT credential in Wisconsin, BLS within 30 days, and a bachelor's degree (Master's or Doctorate

Qualifications

  • Licensed OT in Wisconsin required.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire date required.
  • Experience in outpatient rehab and lymphedema care preferred.

  • Empower Independence: evaluate and treat patients facing physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges.
  • Design Custom Care: craft and implement personalized plans of care with suitable modalities and frequencies.
  • Innovate & Adapt: monitor progress and pivot treatment strategies to ensure best outcomes.
  • Educate & Advocate: provide education and adaptive tools for safe transitions home.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
